Reading financial statements as one connected system.
Financial intelligence is the practice of reading a company's financial disclosure as a connected system rather than as a set of independent figures.

The figures are not the analysis. The relationships between them are.
A single financial statement answers very little. Revenue growth is a claim about demand; whether it is a claim about value depends on what happened to margin, to working capital and to cash. Financial intelligence is the work of holding those together.
Sanclarity AI treats that as a reasoning problem rather than a retrieval problem. The question is not which page contains a number, but what the numbers imply when read against each other.
Income statement and cash flow
Reported earnings and operating cash flow diverge for structural reasons — revenue recognition timing, receivable build, inventory. When they diverge persistently, the income statement is describing something the cash statement does not support.
Why cash flow matters
Cash conversion is the test of whether growth is being funded by customers or by the balance sheet. Growth that consumes cash is not necessarily bad, but it is a different proposition, and the headline growth rate does not distinguish the two.
Working capital as a signal
Days sales outstanding, inventory turns and payable stretch describe how a business behaves under pressure. A change in any of them ahead of a change in earnings is usually the earlier signal.
Segment attribution
Consolidated growth can be produced by one segment with unusual terms. Attribution matters because the collection profile and margin structure differ between parts of the same business.
Entity relationships change the reading
Revenue recognised against a related counterparty, or a receivable concentrated in connected entities, changes how the figure should be interpreted — not because it is improper, but because the counterparty risk is not independent.
Quality of earnings
Non-recurring items, capitalisation policy and provisioning choices are disclosed but rarely aggregated. Reading them together produces a normalised base that a valuation can rest on.
Every figure is read from the filing and keeps the page and line it came from.
Counterparties, subsidiaries and related parties are resolved before the figures are interpreted.
Statements are read against each other, so divergences surface rather than being reported side by side.
The conclusion carries the disclosure behind it, so an analyst can review and challenge it.
